1. Seller lists an item for sale

Download the Gumtree app(Android or iOS, add photos and details of your item, opt-in to Pay & Ship, and set your price.

2. Buyer purchases the item

The buyer discovers a Pay & Ship listing they love, selects a preferred delivery method, and securely completes the payment using our trusted payment partner.

3. Gumtree securely holds the funds

The funds are held securely until the parcel has reached the buyer.

4. Seller drops off the parcel

The parcel gets dropped off at a paperless Pargo drop-off point. Pargo delivers it to the buyer's chosen location without sharing the location or buyer details with the seller.

5. Buyer collects item

The parcel arrives at the buyer's designated pick-up point, they collect it and have 24 hours to raise any disputes if necessary.
