Pay Online for Sellers - How to Enable Pay Online on Your Ad
When creating your ad, you will see an ‘Enable Pay Online’ toggle to activate/deactivate Pay Online for your listing. It is enabled by default for your convenience.
With Pay Online enabled, you will have a Pay Online badge on your listing and buyers will be able to pay for your item on Gumtree and have it delivered to a pick-up point of their choice. We only charge an 8% Pay Online fee on successful sales.
The Pay Online option is not visible when posting my ad, why not?
The reason why the Pay Online option is not available could be due to the fact that the ad is not posted in a category supported by Pay Online or it doesn't meet the value requirements.
Any item posted in a Pay Online eligible category for a fixed value between R50 and R20000 qualifies to be part of the Pay Online feature.
