What happens if the item has not been shipped yet, but I already paid?

Sellers have 48 hours to accept the purchase after the buyer clicks the "buy now" button.

If the seller cannot fulfil the order and it gets cancelled the payment will be refunded to your bank account.

How long does it take to get a refund?

The payment will be reversed, and your money will be refunded to your original payment method within 3-5 working days*.

*Ozow transactions will be refunded to your Gumtree Wallet immediately or to your bank account via EFT if you have already verified your bank account linked to your wallet. A representative from our payment partner will reach out to confirm bank details before the refund is processed.
