You will get paid as soon as you have met with the buyer to exchange the item. 

When you meet with your buyer, they will usually want to be able to inspect the item and make sure that it is in the condition they expect. You should always make sure to inform your buyer of any information about the condition of your item ahead of your meet-up to ensure a smooth and easy experience. 

Once the buyer has inspected their purchase and are ready to take possession of the item, they will need to share a Collection PIN with you. You will need to enter the PIN on your Gumtree My Orders page in order to get paid. We will only release your funds once you have entered the correct Collection PIN. You should always make sure to enter the Collection PIN during the exchange. You should not release the item to your buyer until you have confirmed that the collection PIN is valid and has been confirmed on the Gumtree App.
