We are always looking at new ways to connect buyers and sellers in the most convenient way possible. GAIT clients will have an additional WhatsApp contact option available on their ads for buyers to use. 
 

How does it work? 

Vehicles for sale by dealers that have an active GAIT account will display an additional contact option on their ads: 

Buyers can click on the contact button, which will connect them with the seller through WhatsApp. Buyers can use the contact option through the Gumtree Desktop website (via WhatsApp Web) or the Gumtree Mobile website (via the WhatsApp phone App).  

Once the seller responds, a private chat is created within WhatsApp for further communication between the buyer and seller.   
 

Will the WhatsApp contact option be available on all ads? 

No, the WhatsApp contact option will only be visible to buyers on selected active GAIT client ads. 

Are there any fees involved to use the WhatsApp contact option?
