The Urgent boost lets buyers know you're ready to sell quickly. It adds an Urgent label to your listing, helping it stand out in browse and search results and encouraging faster enquiries.
The Urgent boost doesn't move your listing to the top of search results. If you want your listing to appear at the top of search pages, you can purchase a Top Ad boost.
How can I make my listing Urgent?
There are a few easy ways to add the Urgent boost to your listing. After posting your listing, you'll be prompted to add a boost before you finish.
You'll also receive a confirmation email with a Boost my listing button that takes you directly to the available boosts. Simply select the Urgent boost.
If your listing is already live, go to My Listings, select the listing you'd like to promote and choose the Urgent boost.
How much does the Urgent boost cost?
Posting a listing on Gumtree is free.
The cost of the Urgent boost varies depending on the category and is displayed before you complete your purchase. Pricing may change from time to time.
How do I pay?
You can pay securely using:
- Debit or credit card
- SnapScan
- Ozow
- RCS
- Available funds in your Gumtree Wallet
All payments are processed securely through our trusted payment partners.
Can I get a refund?
Urgent boosts are non-refundable, as outlined in our Terms of Use.
If you no longer want your listing to display as Urgent, you can delete the listing. The boost fee will not be refunded.
What happens if I edit my listing?
Editing your listing won't affect your Urgent boost.
Your listing will continue to display the Urgent label for 7 days, provided the listing remains active. If the listing expires or is deleted during that period, the Urgent boost will end automatically.
