No links to auction sites or links to your ad posted on another site. Remember, you can use as much space as you like and you can even include a photo, so there is no need to direct people elsewhere.

Tickets for sporting or music events at prices above or below face values must state the face value you have paid. Please use the field/space provided for face value in the posting flow i.e. "face value = Rxxx". We do not support ticket touts or scalpers and ads not containing the face value of the ticket will be removed.

Selling airline tickets is not allowed.

TICKETS TO FREE EVENTS: Gumtree users are not permitted to sell tickets to events where all tickets are free to the public.

We do not allow postings advertising the sale of ANYTHING illegal including, but not limited to the following: drugs, weapons, obscene, erotic items/material, cigarettes or tobacco products. Please see our What is not allowed on Gumtree? article.

No pet ads - Please post your Pet ads in the Pets section and refer to Pets Policies.

Ensure your advertisement isn't breaching any applicable laws. It is the responsibility of the advertiser before posting an ad on Gumtree that the content advertised adheres to Gumtree Posting Policies (What are the General posting rules?) as well as applicable laws.
