If the buyer receives their item and it does not match what was listed or is damaged, they can log a dispute within 24 hours of picking up their package from their chosen Pargo pick-up point. When the buyer raises a dispute, it is submitted to our Customer Support team, who will review and communicate with both you and the buyer. During the time that the dispute is being reviewed, the money payable to you will remain in the Gumtree escrow/holding account.
Should the dispute be resolved in your favour, you will be notified and the money will be released to your Gumtree wallet where it will reflect as an ‘Available Balance’. You will be able to use the funds to purchase on Gumtree or withdraw it to your bank account where it will reflect within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.
Should the dispute be resolved in the buyer’s favour, the return process will be initiated. See the return process here. The funds will only be refunded to the buyer when the seller has picked up the package from their preferred Pargo pick-up point.
